A haunted bed & breakfast can draw huge crowds! People love something that is mysterious and out of the ordinary. They don’t want to be put in danger but many of the locations where unexplained activities have taken place are linked to people from the past. It is believed their spirit still resides there and this is a very interesting phenomenon to many.
People are very interested in what these places can offer. The fact that so many people online have shared their experiences only makes other people want to take part in them as well. The fact that there may be unexplained events going on can really entice people to visit. They don’t want to feel like they are in danger but they definitely want to benefit from the possibilities.
Most of us are curious by nature and we can’t help but want to know what is keeping others entertained. That is a great deal of the attraction with these haunted bed & breakfast locations. We may simply want to experience something out of the ordinary that we can share with others as well. It is always more fun to be the one telling the story than the one listening to it.
Others though aren’t impressed with the hype at all. They feel this is just a ridiculous type of marketing ploy. They have to admit though that it is extremely effective. Most of these haunted bed & breakfasts have waiting lists of people that want to get a stay at them. Keep that in mind if you are looking at staying at some of them any time soon.
The internet is the best resource for finding these locations out there. You may be able to get some inside information about them locally, but only once you are in that particular area. By then it will be too late to stay there due to other plans you have made and the reservations other people have secured at the bed & breakfast. Keep that information for future reference though as you can try to stay there the next time you are in town.
In Groveland, California the Groveland Bed & Breakfast is believed to have a miner as a ghost there. He died there one night after going to bed tired from a hard day of mining. This ghost is harmless but many guests have reported their items moving from one part of the room to the next. This is especially true of cosmetics that women use while staying there. He is also known to mess with light switches and even to turn on water in the showers from time to time.
